This picture is from a film shoot in Old Town of "Galileo" (the working title) by L.A. based director Jay Silverman who is behind the camera. Other extras and I played various villager roles with me being a plein air artist. The movie is a romantic comedy loosely based on one of the heirs to the Taco Bell fortune falling for a woman chef in a small hypothetical town named Villa Nueva. Filming was done in Taos, Santa Fe, Albuquerque and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. The painting is a scene of one of the ridgelines in the Sandias.
