Annual Meeting, Artists’ Luncheon, and Special Member Activities
Join us at the Albuquerque Museum of Art and History for our third Annual Meeting. The Artists’ Luncheon and special member activities provide exceptional opportunities for PAPNM members to socialize after an intense season of plein air painting. The day begins with an art materials swap, followed by the annual meeting and election, a luncheon catered by Slate Street Café, and a demonstration by the very accomplished New Mexico oil painter, Robert Kuester. He will demonstrate and discuss his approach to landscape painting, whether it’s going from small field work to large studio work or his extraordinary depiction of New Mexico skies. Kuester received his BFA from Fine Art College of Design in
Los Angeles. He paints landscapes, still lifes, figures, and commissioned portraits. He is an Oil Painters of America Best of Show winner whose work is featured locally at Concetta D in Albuquerque, Adobe Fine Art in Ruidoso, and Sage Creek Gallery in
Santa Fe.

Registration
Registration is $25 per person (tax and gratuities included) for PAPNM members and $30 per person for guests.
Reserve now through November 23 on the PAPNM website at http://pleinairpaintersnm.org/main/events.php. Cancellations after November 23 will not be refunded.

10:00 – 10:45 am
The day begins with an art materials swap for PAPNM members only. Registration is included in the Annual Meeting package price. Dust off all those art materials and equipment cluttering up your studio and bring them to the museum for set-up by 9:45 am! Member-to-Member trade or cash sale of art materials, equipment, or related items must be displayed in the designated area of the museum and attended by the member swapping or selling items. (You may display photos of items too large or cumbersome to physically bring to the swap.) First come first served. No commercial sales. PAPNM is not responsible for condition of items for sale or swap.
11:00 am – 12 noon
The PAPNM Annual Business Meeting and elections of 2011 Executive Officers will be held immediately following the art materials swap. Please contact Tom Blazier, PAPNM Secretary, at secretary@pleinairpaintersnm.org to nominate an Officer or volunteer for a committee. All members are welcome to attend the Annual Business Meeting as a benefit of membership. Please contact Carla Forrest, PAPNM President, at president@pleinairpaintersnm.org if you would like to attend the Business Meeting only without attending the Artists' Luncheon and special member activities.
12:15 – 1:15 pm
The Artists' Luncheon, following the Annual Business Meeting, will be catered by Slate Street Café. The buffet includes dip, salad, assorted gourmet sandwiches, dessert, and beverages.
1:30 – 4:00 pm
