Building A Foundation -Four day intensive series, for beginners. This workshop will jump- start your ability to work with the pastel medium. There is an in-depth review of the large assortment of pastel materials so you will better understand which materials work best for you. Students will learn the ABC’s of design theory, and complete three paintings during the workshop so students can apply the concepts and techniques learned.

Description: 

Would you like to learn to draw or improve your drawing skills? Scribble your way to success in this class! Learn to use different strategies to practice the art of drawing. Trick your brain to see objects with new eyes. Wear down your pencils with a variety of lessons in mark making and values. This class provides a starting point and road map for anyone who would like to learn to draw, as well as improve their drawing skills. Advanced artists will enjoy refreshing their skills and beginners will get a speed course in drawing!
