As we approach the end of the paint out period for the Mother Road event, celebrating 100 years of the iconic Route 66; I would like to share some information with you to make your turn in of your art a bit more predictable for you.
As you get ready to for turn in, follow these steps:
- Take a picture of your paintings and Tiny Treasure and post it to 2026 Mother Road Show Album. As always please insure it is cropped with just the image, no frame, no visible signature. We will use this album for voting on People's Choice as well as to advertise your work via PAPNM and AAI websites.
- Fill out two labels for each painting and bring them with you. One goes on the back of the painting and the other you hand to the person doing check in. Here is the link: Labels These two labels will suffice as the inventory form.
- Bring your progress photos (start and 80% complete) Some people just paste those into a word document.
There are 3 opportunities to turn in your beautiful work:
- If you are shipping your paintings, the last day to have them delivered to AAI is August 28th. In your commecial shipping container (no DIY) you will need to include for each painting: 2 labels (one on the back of each painting), your progress photos with the placard and for each shipping container a prepaid return label.
- If you are turning in your work in Santa Fe on August 29th bring your paintings with 2 labels each and your progress photos on Saturday to the Potluck and Art Materials Swap at Lee Blakeney’s home from 12pm to 5pm.
