We plan to have lunch at The French Pastry Shop in the La Fonda Hotel and then paint at Cathedral Park next to the Basilica. Please register for this event and also email me at dickwimberly@gmail.com if you want to meet for lunch.
The park next to the Basilica is a terrific place to paint views of the Basilica or the gardens or the surrounding street scenes. Hopefully we'll have a little snow, too.
Meter parking is free on Sundays. 
The French Pastry Shop is in the La Fonda Hotel, 100 E. San Francisco St., Santa Fe., NM 87501. 


DIRECTIONS:
 From I-25 North to Santa Fe:
Take Exit 284 at Old Pecos Trail. Turn left at the stop sign at the top of the hill (at the end of exit). Follow Old Pecos Trail to just before the 3rd traffic light and keep to the right on Old Pecos Trail and into town. Old Pecos Trail becomes Old Santa Fe Trail. Follow it all the way to the Plaza, turn right on San Francisco St. The French Pastry Shop will be on the right at the La Fonda Hotel. The Cathedral will be in front of you.
From Taos:
Take New Mexico 68 (Paseo del Pueblo Sur) south to Espaniola. In Espanola, get on US 285. Follow U.S. 285 to Santa Fe where it becomes St. Francis Drive. Take the Guadalupe exit (first Santa Fe exit - left exit off St. Francis), then turn left on San Francisco street. Follow it up the hill, park along the street, or in the lot at the La Fonda hotel. 


The French Pastry Shop will be on the right at the La Fonda Hotel. The Cathedral will be in front of you.
