The Open Space Visitor's Center is one of the best places for watching bird species with the spectacular backdrops of the Sandia Mountains and the Cottonwood forests of the Rio Grande.
Meet at 10 a.m. at the center. There is no fee. Bathrooms are available inside the center. 12:30pm meet for lunch at Jinja Bar & Bistro.

Directions:
The Open Space Visitor Center is at 6500 Coors NW, between Montano Blvd and Paseo del Norte. Watch for signs to the Open Space Visitor Center and turn east on Bosque Meadows Rd. Follow Bosque Meadows Rd. directly to the visitor center.

Directions to Jinja Bar & Bistro: 5400 Sevilla Ave. NW, Albuquerque

From the Open Space Visitor Center find your way back to Rt. 45, Coors Blvd. Go south to

 Sevilla Ave. Go West on Sevilla Ave. to Jinja Bar & Bistro.
