This is a nice picnic area just south of the junction of Rt 4 and Rt.126 (the road that leads to Fenton Lake). There are parking spots, picnic tables and vault toilets. There are evergreen, shade trees and running water. Bring water and a picnic lunch or plan to lunch in Jemez Springs. This is a no fee area.
