Signs of Spring is an online exhibition and contest showcasing 30 paintings of the late winter and spring 2012 created at least 80% en plein air by PAPNM members. PAPNM members voted for their one favorite painting viewed online. The painting receiving the most votes was "Spring in the Canyon," by Nita Harper. Four entries tied for second: "Spring Grasses," by Diane Buster, "Early Spring, Bear Canyon," by Mell Feltman, "Redbuds in the Canyon," by Patricia Rose Ford, and "Spring Break," by Richard Prather.
